A 17-year-old boy was found injured in Green Wrythe Lane at around 11.30am today (January 30).
Emergency services including ambulances, an incident response officer, police, and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
The boy was found injured and he was taken to hospital where his condition is still being assessed.
New images from the scene show forensics kitted in suits working within cordons in place on the green, just beyond a path.
Ercan, of Wrythe Green Fishbar, told Your Local Guardian that he was left shaken up following the stabbing.
He said: “I’m absolutely shocked. It could have been anybody. It is not something I would expect from the area.
“When I first found out I was in so much shock because my family is here as well.
“I was trying to get through to my missus, and I couldn’t get through to her and it was really bad.
“That heartbeat for five minutes when I was driving back from Sutton to here – it was terrible.”
His shock was echoed by Chloe Scott, who lives nearby to the scene of the incident and drove past this morning.
Chloe said: “This is horrendous. It’s a nice area – it’s a very family-oriented area. There’s colleges and schools.
