The incident happened at the junction of Romford Road and Green Street just before 3pm today (March 6).
London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a woman and a man injured.
They were taken to hospital for treatment where their conditions are unknown.
Romford Road was closed as the incident was dealt with, however, it has since reopened.
We’ve contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.58pm on Thursday 6 March to a road traffic collision at the junction of Romford Road and Green Street, Newham.
“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene who treated a man and a woman before taking them to a local hospital as a priority.”
