The charge follows reports of an incident in Green Lanes at around 2.30pm on April 15, that saw police and ambulance crews dispatched to the scene.
A 19-year-old male was found suffering stab wounds that were not life-threatening or changing.
Mbamalu Udemezu, 20, of Norfolk Avenue, Enfield, has since been arrested and charged on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was charged on April 18 and appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court the following day, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on May 21.
