Grand Royale London Hyde Park, located on Inverness Terrace, received findings of “generally satisfactory” following an inspection on Friday, November 8, 2024.
The inspector found hygienic food handling and management of food safety to be generally satisfactory, but identified issues with cleanliness and the condition of the facilities.
This area was rated as needing improvement to meet expected standards.
The inspector wrote in the report: “Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene improvement necessary.”
Other areas reviewed included the preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage of food, all of which were deemed generally satisfactory.
Richard Handley, who left a review on Google, said: “The breakfast at times was cold and some of the plates were still dirty.
“I was celebrating my birthday week but put us top floor.
“Wasn’t best pleased at all.
“Wouldn’t come back as will look elsewhere.”
The Grand Royale London Hyde Park was approached for a comment.
