The Channel 4 show is now entering its 25th series, with previous episodes seeing everything from giant curved glass homes to mansions built out of clay and former water towers.
Now, more keen builders are ready to take on the task, not for the faint-hearted as Kevin travels around the UK to see the new builds in Grand Designs.
The new series kicked off with Sarah and Howard in Worthing, who built their dream “floating home”.
Sarah and Pip set out to transform a 150-year-old Bedfordshire barn.
Given their tight budget, can they retain its charm and spirit, whilst also creating a sleek, modern home?

This week, Kevin will meet Sarah and Pip, who have dreams of bringing a ‘rickety’ old barn back to life.
Bedfordshire couple bring ‘rickety’ old bar to life in Grand Designs
HR director Sarah and technology director Pip hope to transform a 150-year-old “rickety” barn into a grand and modern five-bedroom home.
With hopes to fill the home with their expanding pet family, they need room for donkeys, goats and sheep.
The couple have a budget of £420,000 and wants to keep as much of the original structure as possible to save costs.
However, the barn is in danger of keeling over, with much of the original frame very fragile.

Describing the bold project, Kevin says it “should come with a health warning”.
Grand Designs is on Channel 4 on Wednesday evenings at 9pm and is available to stream on All4.
