Emergency services surrounded Gobions Avenue on Sunday (July 20), after reports of an assault.
The London Ambulance Service was called at 9.59pm and treated someone at the scene before taking them to hospital as a “priority”.
Further details of the person and their condition is unknown at this time.
The Metropolitan Police has been approached for more information.
However multiple police vehicles were pictured in Havering Road, not too far from The Aspen Tree pub, yesterday (July 21).
A photo obtained by the Romford Recorder shows officers standing in front of the open rear doors of a police van.
The van had pulled into a bus stop.
It is unclear whether the police presence at Collier Row is linked to the alleged assault.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.59pm on Sunday 20 July to reports of an assault on Gobions Avenue, Romford.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a patient and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
