The incident happened on Gale Street near Porters Avenue at 8.50am today (December 4).
An ambulance attended the scene and treated a teenage girl before taking her to hospital.
The Met Police has confirmed the girl is not in a life threatening or life changing condition.
No arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The victim’s condition is not life threatening or life changing – no arrests.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.50am today (4 December) to reports of a road traffic collision in Gale Street, Dagenham.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a teenager at the scene and took her to hospital.”
