Officers say they spotted and stopped a “suspicious” parked vehicle containing four people in Frith Road yesterday morning (April 24).
Two of the people allegedly tried to escape but were stopped, before a zombie knife and lock knife were found.
Meanwhile, a search of the vehicle brought to light drugs and weapons and four suspects were arrested and remain in custody.
Pictures shared by officers show cash, cannabis and pills in plastic bags.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Four individuals have been arrested on Frith Road, Croydon after a police stop uncovered illegal items in a parked vehicle.
“On Thursday morning, 24th April 2025, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle where four people were found inside.
“A search led to the discovery of drugs and weapons.
“Two individuals attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. One was found in possession of a zombie knife, the other with lock knife.
“The suspects remain in custody, and follow-up searches have uncovered additional evidence.”
