Qwell, a digital platform, provides free, anonymous, and personalised mental health support.
Available to all adults, including parents and carers over 18, it offers 24/7 access to mental wellbeing resources.
Users can explore various services suited to their needs, including counselling sessions.
These are available as one-to-one, text-based live chats with qualified mental health professionals.
The sessions, which can cover parental mental health or other wellbeing issues, are available from midday to 10pm on weekdays and 6pm to 10pm on weekends.
A community of peer support runs alongside the sessions, offering forums and a self-help toolkit.
Cllr Abdul Abdullahi, who is responsible for children’s services, said: “We want residents in our borough to have 24/7 access to mental health services without any delays.”
There are no criteria or eligibility thresholds, and no referral is needed to access the platform.
Dr Lynne Green, chief clinical officer at online platform Kooth, said: “Qwell ensures that people across Enfield will have access to anonymous, safe, and effective mental health care and support around the clock and at their fingertips.”
Qwell is part of Enfield Council’s Start for Life offer, funded by the Department of Education.
It is not a crisis support service.
