Warwick Goodall is hosting a free bingo event for the community at Charlie Ratchford Court, an extra care scheme in Chalk Farm, from 3.30pm on December 23.
With people in care homes, the disabled and the lonely in mind, attendees will be given free bingo books, free raffle tickets and prizes as well as mince pies.
Entertainment is being provided by singer/songwriter Malcolm Goodall of Hats Off Gentlemen It’s Adequate.
Father-of-two Warwick said: “I used to be a bingo caller and I want to give back to the community.
“People in care homes, half of them have no-one at Christmas, they have no interaction at Christmas, they don’t get to talk to anyone outside the care home during Christmas so if I can bring them some happiness and enjoyment this Christmas, that’s a good thing.
“I’m lucky, I have a lot of friends, a supportive family, I have a wife, I have two children and I can’t ask for more but those people have no-one so if I can give them a nice Christmas once a year so be it, I’ll do it for free.”
