The Endure Relays London event will launch on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as part of a new series taking place in three UK cities, including Birmingham and Manchester.
Nick Tuppen, chief executive of Threshold Sports, said: “Running communities have boomed in the past five years.
“They are built on support, sociability and running as a group experience.
“However, the vast majority of races are all about solo efforts.
“This new format is designed from the bottom up to suit the full spectrum of running clubs and communities across the UK.
“We had over 900 teams, clubs and crews join us on Endure24 events this summer and we can’t wait to bring the Endure relay vibe to cities for the first time.”
The event is part of the new Endure Relays Series, a sister event to the popular 24-hour Endure24, which already takes place in Reading and Leeds.
Teams will compete on a 2.5km course for four hours, aiming to complete as many laps as possible.
Options include running 13 laps for a 20-miler, 17 laps for a marathon, or 20 laps for a 50k ultra.
