Gullotti Cafe, a family-run establishment, has been welcoming customers to its outlet since January 1.
Eren Gullotti, the manager of the new cafe, spoke to the Recorder about business so far and what makes Gullotti unique.
“I am the manager and my father is the owner. It is a family-run cafe. We have a few other staff members and my brother-in-law is the chef.
“I’ve been running cafes for the last 11 or 12 years. I have had around eight different cafes before and this is the latest one for me.”
Eren and his family live in Hackney but were attracted to Hainault through positive word of mouth.
“We heard good things about Hainault. We spent some time looking around here, how the people are and how busy the street flow is,” said Eren.
“The community has been lovely and welcomed us nicely.
“Business has been very good so far. We’ve had very positive feedback. In a month’s time we do believe that we will be very busy.”
The cafe is located less than a minute’s walk from Hainault train station.
Eren claimed that Gullotti’s’ true point of difference is the quality of ingredients used, and therefore the taste of their food and drinks.
“We’re very unique through our quality. My mum makes our homemade pastries.
“Everything at the café has high quality standards, starting from our ingredients such as our sausages to our sauces to everything else.
“We’ve got the best coffee around. We get our coffee from Brazil where it is harvested by my friend and grinded freshly. It’s the number one café for coffee.”
