The two-week Easter holidays are upon us, which means lots of time to fill if you have children.
Luckily, there are a huge variety of events and activities planned in Havering, many of which are free or less than £5 to take part in.
We have rounded up just four of these Easter activities.
Things to do in Havering during Easter holidays 2025
Football and basketball in Havering Parks
Havering Active, alongside the Metropolitan Police and other local organisations, are running United in Football and Basketball sessions at various parks across the Easter break.
This includes sessions at Central Park on April 9, Bosworth Field on April 11, Harold Wood Park on April 14 and Lawns Park on April 16.
It is free to take part and there is no booking required. More detailed timings can be found on the Havering Active website.

Romford Business Improvement District has unleashed the dinosaurs around the town centre for the Romford Roars trail, lasting until April 22.
This is a free event, with families able to collect a trail map and find all the life-sized toy brick dinosaurs in Romford’s shopping centres.
The Mercury, Brewery and Romford Shopping Hall are also putting on extra paid for activities including the chance to “dine with a dino” at the shopping hall or take a photo with the Easter Bunny at The Mercury.
Havering Fun Run in Hornchurch
The Mayor of Havering’s charity fun run will be held at Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch on Easter Monday (April 21) at 11am.
Entry is £10 per person or £5 for children under 16, with all money going to Havering Mind and Havering Association for People with Disabilities (HAD).
Everyone under 16 gets a medal and prizes will be given out on the day.
