Liron Woodcock-Velleman, 30, was a Barnet councillor when between December 3 and December 10, 2024, he sent sexual messages to a 13-year-old girl.
The messages included naked photos of himself, London Now reports.
Woodcock-Velleman was elected as a councillor for Whetstone ward in 2022 but left his role suddenly and without explanation in April last year.
At Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 2, he pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.
He will be sentenced on February 10 at the same court.
A spokesperson for Barnet Labour Party said they took immediate action as soon as concerns were raised.
