The money is part of the High Street Place Labs (HSPL) initiative.
The investment will aid the London Borough of Bexley’s plans to regenerate Erith, with an emphasis on collaboration with local residents and town centre users.
This initiative is expected to attract further investment, transforming Erith into a vibrant and prosperous town centre.
Councillor Munur, cabinet member for place shaping, said: “This funding is a welcome boost to our plans to improve and transform Erith.
“This money will help us expand our engagement with residents, businesses, and other key stakeholders to develop a shared strategy to help deliver what is best for Erith and the borough.”
The HSPL initiative is financed by the Mayor of London and the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
