The man was in Temple Close at the junction with Hazon Way around 5.30am today (May 4) when he was approached by two men allegedly armed with knives.
Police say they punched him in the head before taking his phone and glasses and searching his pockets.
Suspects are described as white, wearing black tracksuits and balaclavas, and had their hoods up.
Police are currently carrying out a number of enquiries to trace the men responsible.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who has any information which could help the investigation.

A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed while he was out jogging in Epsom earlier this morning (May 4).
