Organised by planning agent KLW Planning, who represent Croudace Homes, the meeting will discuss the submission of an outline planning application for the new housing planned for Stonards Hill.
It is set to happen at 7.15pm on August 26 at the Town Hall.
The application will reportedly be submitted to the Epping Forest District Council, and KLW Planning will give a 20-minute presentation to the council members, which will be followed by questions and comments.
The meeting is part of a public consultation process, which also includes an online exhibition where people can give their views on the plans until September 16.
Beyond the meeting tonight, the organisers have invited the public to leave feedback online.
The proposed development aims to deliver “well-located new homes” within walking distance of the town centre while keeping the current woodland areas and providing open space onsite.
Residents can access more information on the online public exhibition at landatstonardshill.co.uk.
The exhibition gives further details about the proposed houses and allows for public feedback.
It went live at the beginning of the consultation on August 27 and will remain available until September 16.
