Keith Silk, 33, of Torrington Drive, was arrested on Saturday (July 19) on suspicion of violent disorder and criminal damage.
He has now been charged with one count of violent disorder and one count of criminal damage.

Kebatu denied the charge when he appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 17)
Eight police officers were injured following what started as a peaceful protest outside on Thursday evening.
Silk has been remanded into custody and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (July 21).
Other arrests and charges
Dean Walters, 65, of Corner Meadow in Harlow, has been charged with affray and will appear at court in September following a separate protest today (July 19).
A second man arrested for a breach of a dispersal order has been released on conditional bail.
