Services and parades took place at Edmonton Green War Memorial, Enfield Town War Memorial, and St Andrew’s Church in Southgate on Sunday (November 9).
Crowds gathered to pay tribute to those who served and sacrificed their lives in the two world wars and more recent conflicts.
Councillor Gina Needs, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for community cohesion and enforcement, said: “It’s important we honour and remember the brave men and women who have served our country and those who continue to serve.
“Remembrance Sunday is a time to reflect on the gratitude we owe to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
“Their courage and bravery must never be forgotten.
“We stand together as a community in respect, remembrance, and hope.
“We will remember them.”
