Around 60 older residents enjoyed an afternoon of rock ’n’ roll sponsored by GoodOaks Homecare Woodford Green, Waltham Forest & Loughton at Age UK Waltham Forest.
The event featured award-winning Elvis tribute artist Sal Bashir, whose performance had guests singing and dancing to classic hits.

Annie Mayet, owner of GoodOaks Homecare Woodford Green, Waltham Forest & Loughton, said: “We are passionate about creating moments that matter for older people in our community.
“Seeing so many of our guests light up with joy during Sal’s performance was incredibly moving – it was everything we hoped for and more.”
The event was organised with Helen Bigham, community fundraiser at Age UK Waltham Forest, and supported by volunteers who served tea, coffee and cake throughout the afternoon.
GoodOaks Homecare also hosts monthly coffee mornings at Belgique in Woodford Green, offering refreshments, games and social connection.
