A woman was topping up her Oyster card at the station when a man reportedly came up behind her and grabbed her handbag on September 16 at around 9pm.
The woman resisted and managed to walk out of the station with her bag.
Over a month since the attempted theft, police have released an image of a man who officers would like to speak to.
According to the British Transport Police (BTP), it is believed the man may have information which could help their investigation.
