It comes after a large police presence was noted in Edmund Road at around 2pm on December 12, 2024.
Officers were dispatched to an address in the street as part of an ongoing investigation.
The investigation was launched in response to concerns raised about injuries on a child.
A crime scene was erected in the street, with officers present for a number of days.

At the time of the visit a child, whose gender has now been confirmed as female, was in hospital fighting for her life with critical injuries.
Two women were previously arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm assault but have been bailed.
According to a spokesperson for the force, the girl’s condition “has improved” but she continues to remain in hospital at this time.
