Several armed officers were seen in Edgwarebury Lane at around noon today (October 28) as part of a warrant executed.
Police had shut the road for some hours during the raid.
Elsewhere, police had also attended The Ridgeway in Colindale with a second warrant.
Three boys, one aged 16 and two 17, were arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with an ongoing robbery investigation.
They have been taken into custody and the investigation continues, the Metropolitan Police said.
The CST shared a statement on X earlier today clarifying that the “heavy police presence” in Edgware was “not specifically related to the local Jewish community”, following false speculation online.
Police have also confirmed that no business premises were involved in either warrant and the force says information circulating on social media has been “inaccurate”.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, 28 October at approximately 12:00hrs two warrants were executed by officers, including firearms officers, at addresses in Edgwarebury Lane HA8 and The Ridgeway NW9.
“Three teenage boys, one aged 16 and two aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with an ongoing robbery investigation.
“They have been taken into custody and the investigation continues.”
