Police were called to Hamonde Close in Broadfields Estate just after 5pm on May 29 to reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a man at the scene suffering from stab wounds to his head. These are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
According to a police spokesperson, the stabbing had allegedly taken place after a fight between two drivers in Bushfield Crescent.
Last Sunday (June 1), a 60-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
He has since been bailed while police enquiries into the incident continue.
