Recalling the time she relocated to the States in 2014, the former BBC EastEnders star told Angelee Sidar on the Feel It In Your Soul podcast: “When I went to LA, I thought I was going there to be an actress.
“Lots of things happened when I got there – a series of events.
“I was supposed to be doing a sitcom – didn’t happen – so we stayed. We thought we’ll give it a go anyway.
“I had a big agent. Straight away, it turned out that he was like everything that I’d watched in a sitcom in America.”
Patsy Palmer added: “I can be quite outspoken and people can think that I’m confrontational, but I’m not. It takes a lot for me to say what I think.
“But this guy – straightaway, I thought he was so rude. Really rude. He was a typical “You’ll never work in this town again” [type].
“Just because I answered him back, like, ‘How dare you speak to me like that! Who are you? I’ve just arrived here.’
“I think I asked a question and he said, ‘This is not the way we do things’.”
She went on to explain that this war of words caused her career in the United States to come to an abrupt end.
She said: “My agent [in the UK] at the time didn’t really want to represent me anymore because I’d had this argument with this agent there.

“I realised in this industry no one gives a s*** really about anyone at the end of the day.”
