Between June 23 and June 29, a string of warrants were carried out and patrols were increased across the London boroughs of Havering, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham.
During the week, police were called to Romford with reports of a fight which resulted in two weapons being seized.
One of these was a samurai sword. A number of boys have been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
They remain under investigation.
Elsewhere in Havering, cannabis, cash, and a baseball bat were recovered from a car alongside an electronic device used in motor vehicle thefts after police attempted to stop a car suspected to be involved in drug supply.
In St Georges Avenue, Hornchurch, officers discovered £80,000 worth of cannabis plants inside a home.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged, and has since pleaded guilty to the offence of production of cannabis.
He awaits sentencing at Snaresbrook Crown Court later this month.
The results follow an operation aimed at disrupting organised crime and county lines, seeing local Metropolitan Police officers join with Safer Neighbourhood teams and detectives.
As part of the aim to tackle county lines, community road shows were held in Harold Hill and Romford Town Centre to discuss the matter.
In Dagenham, a gun and magazine containing eight bullets were seized from an address in Malpas Road during a warrant.
Officers arrested a 33-year-old man who was subsequently charged for firearms offences.
He has been remanded in custody awaiting a court appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court this month.
A cannabis factory was discovered inside a ninth floor flat on Liston Way, Woodford, during a search.
Around 100 plants with an estimated street value of £100,000 were seized.
Officers discovered that the electricity meter had been tampered with to facilitate the factory, risking the safety of other residents in the building.
DCI Jackie Sweeney for East Area’s proactive said: “Criminals involved in drug lines will exploit children and vulnerable adults, leaving them trapped into carrying and selling drugs away from their homes.
