The figures shared by HMRC on March 18 have revealed a number of businesses in the area that are now facing fines.
People and businesses named on the list have been found to have made deliberate errors in their tax returns, or have deliberately failed to comply with their tax obligations.
Each case is investigated and their details published when defaulters have been charged with one or more penalties for deliberate errors involving tax of more than £25,000.
Green Pacific Water Treatment Limited, a consultancy group with a former address in Petersfield Avenue, Harold Hill, were found to have defaulted on tax between October 7, 2020 and October 31, 2021.
Tax equalling £152,348.75 had gone unaccounted for during this period, incurring a penalty charge of £106,644.11.
Another business based in Havering that was found to have made deliberate errors on their taxes is UK Aesthetics & Beauty Ltd.
The beauty therapy company had a previous address in Romford’s High Street, and a second address in Brooks Parade in Green Lane, Ilford.
HMRC discovered errors on tax amounting to £122,492 between December 1, 2017, and June 30, 2023.
They were charged a penalty of £85,744.40.
Cargo handlers Global Union Solutions Ltd defaulted on tax worth £100,677.27 between May 1, 2021, and April 30, 2022.
The business had an address in Romford Road, Manor Park, with its tax errors costing it £70,474.08.
Production Seven Eighth Limited, also linked to Manor Park with a former address in Clarence Road, was found to have made errors on £32,995 worth of tax.
The discrepancies were registered between November 1, 2021 and April 30, 2023, resulting in a charge of £24,746.25.
HMRC charged APS Consulting Limited £79,721.51 after it was discovered that £86,185.45 in tax went unaccounted for across a four-year period.
Formerly known as APS Cars Limited, the business was registered to an address at Topmast Point in The Quarterdeck on the Isle of Dogs.
The errors on tax were made between March 1, 2019, and May 31, 2023.
Vera Lucia Correia Martins, an engineer in Plaistow, was charged £80,773.87 in tax penalties for faults on tax valuing £82,845 between December 4, 2022, and September 30, 2023.
A restaurant in Ilford’s High Street was also investigated for tax errors.
Muziris Ltd was found to have unaccounted for tax in two periods between January 1, 2017, and April 30, 2020, and again on May 1, 2022, and January 31, 2023.
The unaccounted for tax was found to come to £70,322.33, incurring penalty charges of £31,607.51.
A taxi driver with links to construction was named as a tax defaulter by the HMRC.
Florian Tudic, formerly registered to addresses in Green Lane, Ilford and Market Square, Poplar, was found with tax discrepancies on duties totalling £53,568.12.
The errors were made between April 6, 2016, and April 5, 2022, resulting in a charge of £33,480.05.
A labourer and a construction company both linked to addresses in Walthamstow have also incurred charges as a result of their deliberate tax errors.

Vasile Ghibu, linked to Chingford Road and The Drive, has been charged £21,000.08 for discrepancies found on £39,069.05 in tax between April 6, 2017, and April 5, 2022.
Construction Experts Limited, formerly of Hoe Street, was found to have defaulted on £178,383 in tax between May 1, 2021, and April 30, 2022.
The company has been charged penalties of £115,502.99.
