The boy was with his two siblings and his mum when they were reportedly racially abused and attacked on March 9 at 12.30pm at the ticket barriers.
It is reported that the man approached the family shouting racial abuse before punching the boy in the face repeatedly, causing his nose and mouth to bleed.
The man is said to have also punched the woman, before leaving the station onto Brassie Avenue.
