Police were called to Ducketts Common on Sunday (August 31) at around 1am after reports of two men attacking another man.
Once officers arrived, the scene was clear as all individuals had fled.
Officers have not made any arrests at this stage.
However a crime scene remains in place, with part of the park closed off, as investigations take place.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating an alleged assault which is believed to have happened at around 01:00hrs on Sunday, 31 August in Ducketts Common, Haringey Ladder.
“Witnesses reported seeing two men attack another man. When officers arrived on scene all individuals had fled. No one has been arrested at this stage.
“A crime scene remains in place while police conduct initial enquiries.”
