In Moto Ltd, trading as Ducati Croydon, confirmed it has shut its doors for the final time after 26 years in business.
The dealership said the decision came due to “very difficult conditions” in the industry, and despite their best efforts, they were no longer able to continue operating.
Founded in 1999 by Gaudenzio Ingignoli and later joined by Cristian and Roberta, In Moto has operated as a family-run business built on a shared passion for Ducati motorcycles.
In a statement, they said: “It is with a very heavy heart that we share some important news.
“After twenty-six years of serving riders across South London and Surrey, In Moto Ltd / Ducati Croydon has closed its doors for the final time.
“The industry has faced very difficult conditions in recent times, and, despite every effort, we are unable to continue operating.”
They added that the closure does not affect their sister site, Ducati London in Vauxhall, which remains open under Cristian’s leadership and will continue offering new and used bike sales, servicing, warranty, clothing, parts and accessories.
While the Croydon dealership has now closed, the Ingignoli family said they will focus fully on Ducati London moving forward.
They added: “To everyone who has supported us over the years, thank you.
“Your loyalty, trust, and friendship have meant everything to us.
“Thank you for twenty-six unforgettable years.”
