This week, from February 24 until March 2, a number of engineering works are set to affect some London Overground and DLR services in and around south London.
Here’s everything you need to know:
DLR changes
No service between Poplar / Stratford International and Beckton / Woolwich Arsenal.
When? Saturday (March 1) and Sunday (March 2)
On Saturday and Sunday of this week, no services will be running between Poplar or Stratford International and Beckton or Woolwich Arsenal.
As a result, customers are being advised to use Elizabeth Line services between Custom House and Woolwich.
However, some services may be impacted as a result of industrial action on March 1.
A replacement bus service will run calling at stations between Canary Wharf and Gallions Reach, Canning Town and Albert Road, and Canning Town and London City Airport.
London Overground changes
Windrush Line: No evening services between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / New Cross Gate / Clapham Junction.
When? Monday (February 24), Wednesday (February 25) and Thursday (February 27)
On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after 9:15pm each evening there will be no services running between Highbury & Islington and New Cross, New Cross Gate or Clapham Junction.
The last trains will be the following:
- 8:42pm from New Cross to Dalston Junction
- 9:00pm from Clapham Junction to Dalston Junction
- 9:12pm from Dalston Junction to New Cross
- 9:19pm from Dalston Junction to Clapham Junction
- 9:24pm from New Cross Gate to Highbury & Islington
- 9:32pm from Highbury & Islington to New Cross Gate.
A replacement bus service M will also run calling between Canada Water and Clapham Junction, and a replacement bus service K will run between Dalston Kingsland and New Cross Gate.
Mildmay Line: No early morning southbound services from Willesden Junction to Shepherds Bush
When? Tuesday (February 25), Thursday (February 27) and Friday (February 28)
Every morning until 6:15am there will be no southbound Overground trains from Willesden Junction to Shepherd’s Bush.
The following services will also be changed:
- The 5:52am first train from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction will start from Shepherd’s Bush at 6am.
- The 6:08am second train from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction will not run with customers advised to use the next service atat 06:23am or bus routes 220 or 228.
- The 6:11am Stratford to Clapham Junction train will start at Shepherds Bush at 7:01am.
- The 6:51am Stratford to Richmond train will start at Willesden Junction at 7:37am.
