Havering Council received the application relating to Unit 3 Detection House in Brooklands Approach on April 14.
According to documents accompanying the proposal, the unit was formerly used by a tyre company.
The change of use application includes no plans for physical changes to the site.

It is unclear at this stage the nature of the place of worship intended for the site, if the plans are approved by the council.
Applicant Syed Sabir Ahmed has stated that the unit is also accompanied by two parking spaces to the front of the property.
A decision is set to be made by June 12.
