A causalty on the tracks was reported in Denham Golf Club station shortly after 3.35pm on November 15.
Officers were called the scene, however, the person was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Severe disruption followed across rail services, affecting routes between Oxford and London Marylebone among others.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “Officers were called to Denham Golf Club railway station at 3.36pm on Saturday (15 November) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
