David Lloyd Clubs has announced November 27 as the official opening date for its new Colliers Wood facility.
The health, fitness, and wellness club, located in Merton, will open its doors to the public after an 18-month development.
The completion of the centre has been highly anticipated, and many residents have already secured memberships.

The new facility boasts an array of advanced amenities catering to various health and wellness needs.
These include a gym with more than 100 stations, a heated indoor pool with a kids pool, and five boutique group exercise studios.
There’s also a luxurious spa retreat, which provides a range of experiences including a Himalayan salt sauna, rainforest experience shower, crystal steam room, ice cave, plunge pool, and a hydrotherapy pool.
The club offers a selection of David Lloyd Clubs’ signature group classes, including BLAZE, SPIRIT, 1GN1TE, CYCLONE, and REBELS.
For families, the clubroom has a family zone, an indoor soft play area for children, and a business lounge.
Members can enjoy freshly made smoothies, coffee, and meals, which can be ordered via the David Lloyd Clubs’ app and delivered to their tables.
For aspiring young swimmers, the new centre will also host junior coaching programmes through the highly-regarded Swim Stars initiative.
The enthusiasm surrounding the new facility has also resulted in successful recruitment, with the club creating 75 jobs for local residents.
