Jason Marc-Williams has been announced as the Dame in Dartford’s Orchard West pantomime Aladdin, running from December 13, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
He will join TV favourite Linda Robson and award-winning comedian Rikki Jay in the cast.
Mr Marc-Williams said: “I’m really looking forward to it.
“I do panto every year, but it’s been a couple of years since I last played the Dame, and I’ve missed it.
“I’ve been playing the baddie for the last few years, so I’m excited to be back in the heels and wigs.
“This will also be my first time on stage in Dartford.
“It’s been a few years since the town has had a traditional panto dame and for me it’s such a core part of pantomime, so I can’t wait to bring her to the stage.”
Mr Marc-Williams, who trained at the Guildford School of Acting, has appeared in pantomimes and theatre productions across the UK and internationally.
Despite his experience, this will be his first time performing in Dartford.
Orchard West has promised a “magical” experience for audiences.
A spokesman for the theatre said: “With dazzling sets, toe-tapping tunes, barrels of belly laughs and a magical tale to match, Aladdin is the ultimate festive treat.”
The show will follow Aladdin’s adventure as he tries to defeat a wicked sorcerer, take control of a magic lamp, and win the heart of Princess Jasmine.
Audience members of all ages are invited to join in the festive fun.
A spokesman for Orchard West said: “With tickets from just £15, climb aboard your magic carpet and head to Orchard West this Christmas for a panto packed with fun for all ages, from three to 103.”
