Organised by Dartford Borough Council and taking place on Friday, September 5 between 5pm and 8pm, Dartford Centre will host its inaugural Night Food Market.
The event will celebrate international cuisine and will feature food from over eight countries including Indian, African and Spanish fare.
Alongside international foods, the market will feature dessert vendors offering everything from donuts to chimney cakes, as well as drink stalls and stands selling gifts and crafts.
The central seating area will also double as a place to enjoy the atmosphere of the evening, which will be accompanied by a programme of live performers, from singers and drummers to magicians and face painting for the children.
Leader of the Council Jeremy Kite said: “We are delighted to launch Dartford’s first Night Food Market, which will not only showcase our incredible community, but also bring people together at a family-friendly evening market.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses whilst creating a new highlight for the town centre.”
