Beaumont Primary and Heathfield Academy
Leading the Croydon rankings are Beaumont Primary School and Heathfield Academy.
Beaumont Primary, a community school in Old Lodge Lane in Purley, saw 90pc of pupils meet the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
Heathfield Academy, a sponsor-led academy on Aberdeen Road, also recorded 90pc of pupils reaching the expected level.
It is part of the STEP Academy Trust, serving children aged 4–11.
Oasis Academy Byron and Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School
In joint second place are Oasis Academy Byron and Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School, both with 89 per cent of pupils achieving the expected standard.
Oasis Academy Byron is an academy on St David’s off Stoneyfield Road in Coulsdon while Winterbourne Junior Girls’ School is a maintained junior school in Winterbourne Road in Thornton Heath.
Applegarth Academy and David Livingstone Academy
Sharing fourth place, Applegarth Academy and David Livingstone Academy both posted 88 per cent meeting the expected standard.
Applegarth Academy, located on Bygrove in New Addington, is an academy within the STEP Academy Trust serving children aged three to 11.
David Livingstone Academy, another STEP Trust academy in Thornton Heath’s Northwood Road, also recorded 88 pc.
Paxton Academy Sports and Science
In seventh place is Paxton Academy Sports and Science, an academy in London Road in Thornton Heath, where 87 per cent of pupils met the expected standard.
Gresham Primary School
Next is Gresham Primary School on Limpsfield Road in Sanderstead.
The community school saw 86pc of pupils reaching the expected level.
Coulsdon CofE Primary School
In ninth place is Coulsdon CofE Primary School, a Church of England maintained school in Bradmore Way in Old Coulsdon, where 85pc of pupils met the expected standard.
Krishna Avanti Primary School
Rounding out the top 10 is Krishna Avanti Primary School, a faith school in Southbridge Place, with 84 pc of pupils achieving the expected standard.
