Krishna Avanti School, in Croydon, was visited by inspectors on April 24, 2025, where they assessed the standards.
The report highlighted the school’s “welcoming ethos” and “shared values”, noting that students demonstrate virtues such as self-discipline, humility, and empathy.
It stated: “Pupils are attentive and focus well on learning in the classroom.
“They play well together in the playground.
“Throughout the school, pupils and staff treat one another with high levels of respect.”
The school was also praised for its broad and ambitious curriculum, and how it helps pupils think deeply about what they have learned, such as the impact of war globally, nationally, and locally.
Principal Mrs Bijal Pandya said: “This report is a true reflection of our vibrant school community.
“I am incredibly proud of our pupils, staff, and families whose dedication and shared values continue to make Krishna Avanti a place of excellence, compassion, and growth.”
Krishna Avanti Primary School is a co-educational, Hindu faith school for children aged between four and 11, and is part of the Avanti Schools Trust.
