Police were called at 9.03am on Monday (April 7) to Wellington Road following the concern for welfare of a man.
London Ambulance Service attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexpected but not deemed to be suspicious.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 9.03am on Monday, 7 April to Wellington Road, Croydon following the concern for welfare of a man.
“London Ambulance Service attended and a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is being treated as unexpected but not deemed to be suspicious.”
