The London Ambulance Service was called to Croydon Road in Wallington at around 4.30pm yesterday (November 3).
Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated a patient before taking him to hospital “as a priority”.
Croydon Road was closed following the crash with drivers facing severe delays during rush hour as a result.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.31pm yesterday (3 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in Croydon Road, Wallington.
“We sent an ambulance crew and an advanced paramedic to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
