Highlights include several single-storey rear extensions reaching the maximum 6-metre threshold under permitted development rules.

These come from addresses such as 49 Bennetts Way (ref: 25/01798/GPDO), 245 Violet Lane (ref: 25/01782/GPDO), and 44 Galpins Road, Thornton Heath (ref: 25/01762/GPDO).

Remy Court on South Park Hill Road is also set for a significant change, with plans to construct a three-storey block housing four self-contained dwellings (ref: 25/01151/FUL).

Meanwhile, a residential dwelling at 11 Donald Road may soon be converted into a small care home for up to three young residents and a live-in carer (ref: 25/01772/LP).

Tree maintenance has been a notable feature in this week’s planning register.

At Kingsmeade Court, Selhurst Road, seven trees, including Holm Oaks and Goat Willow, are due for reduction or removal to improve site management and visibility (ref: 25/01775/CAT).

Plans at Tidenham Gardens include re-pollarding and crown-lifting various protected species (ref: 25/01749/TRE), while a severely decayed Silver Birch near a footpath at Hadley Wood Rise is proposed for felling under a TPO (ref: 25/01743/TRE).

Roof alterations and dormer builds are also on the rise in Norbury and South Croydon.

91 Grasmere Road is set for a rear dormer with gable end and rooflights (ref: 25/01752/LP), and 249 Green Lane is planning a full loft conversion with a new dormer and side window (ref: 25/01735/LP).

Larger renovations continue, with 6 Pollards Hill East proposed for full conversion into four flats, complete with rear and roof extensions and on-site parking (ref: 25/01658/FUL).

Other planning highlights this week include a dramatic redesign at 110 Norbury Hill with a new bay window, porch, and dormer extension (ref: 25/01759/HSE), ground and first-floor rear extensions with driveway changes at 7 Haydn Avenue, Purley (ref: 25/01430/HSE), and a new detached garage at 27 Kingswood Lane, Warlingham, to replace the existing one (ref: 25/01483/HSE).
