Cranbrook Road was shut briefly this morning (September 3), with a large stretch of the road taped off by police as investigations took place.
Officers were at the scene, but the incident was stood down shortly after in the morning, as it’s understood no suspicious packages were found.
The cordon blocked off some access near Ilford station and the shopping centre.
It is understood the incident was resolved at some point near to 9am.
The Metropolitan Police has not shared any further details about the brief investigation that took place.
