Thomas George Pearse, 33, of Robert Street, Plumstead, appeared on June 16, 2025, and admitted breaching a suspended-sentence order imposed by Bromley Magistrates’ Court on February 6, 2025, by failing to attend Rehabilitation Activity Requirement appointments on February 14, March 4, March 12, March 26, and April 10, 2025.
Magistrates varied the order to eight weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 15 months.
No fines, costs or surcharges were imposed.
Ranjit Nijher, 48, of Dunkery Road, Grove Park, must pay £658 in a £220 fine, £350 costs and an £88 victim surcharge after he was found guilty in his absence of driving a BMW Z4 at 10.19 am on January 14, 2024, at more than 70 mph on the A20 near Frognalls, Bromley, a dual carriageway where the limit is 70 mph.
His licence was endorsed with three penalty points; all sums are due by July 15, 2025.
Eric Taylor, 57, of Barnfield Road, Orpington, appeared on June 17, 2025, and admitted possessing a crack pipe in Lewisham on June 16, 2025, breaching a criminal behaviour order imposed by Bromley magistrates on April 26, 2024.
Magistrates sentenced him to 12 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months because he is the sole carer for his elderly mother.
No fines, costs or surcharges were imposed.
Stephen Ward, 20, of St Keverne Road, Eltham, appeared on June 19, 2025, and admitted breaching a community order imposed by Willesden magistrates on September 17, 2024, after failing to attend Rehabilitation Activity Requirement appointments on November 25 and December 10, 2024.
The court revoked the order—originally made for stealing Nicorette products worth £2,121.31 from a Sainsbury’s in Ipswich—and replaced it with a new community order that includes an electronically monitored curfew from 5 pm to 7 am each night until December 18, 2025, a 25-day accredited programme and 20 rehabilitation activity days.
No fines, costs or surcharges were imposed.
Frederick Baxter, 36, of Salisbury Close, Tonbridge, appeared on June 20, 2025, to make a statutory declaration before admitting driving a Ford Focus at 10.33 am on March 10, 2024, at more than 40 mph on the A20 Sidcup bypass, Bexley, where a temporary 40 mph limit was in force.
He was fined £72 and must also pay a £28 victim surcharge, making £100 in total, and his licence was endorsed with three penalty points; payment is due by July 17, 2025.
