Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 3.55pm today (February 21) with reports of the incident in Coronation Road.
A van had been involved in a crash with a pedestrian.
London Ambulance Service paramedics were also dispatched to the scene, where the male pedestrian was found injured.
He has been taken to hospital in an unknown condition.
The driver of the van was arrested on suspicious of causing grievous bodily harm.

A Met spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 15:55hrs on Friday, 21 February to reports of a van in collision with a pedestrian on Coronation Road, NW10.
“Officers attended. The man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service; we await an update on his condition.
“The driver of the van was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.”
