Bailey Rae broke had her breakthrough in 2006 with the single Put Your Records On, before becoming the fourth female British artist to have her debut album enter the charts at number one.
Over the course of her career she has won two GRAMMY Awards, a MOBO Award, a BRIT Award and an Ivor Novello.
Black Rainbows marked a creative leap from her previous work. Inspired by a visit to the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago, a one-of-a-kind “cathedral of Black art” that champions innovation in contemporary art, the 10-track record embraces a more experimental sound.
Tickets for Corinne Bailey Rae presents Black Rainbows with Guildhall Session Orchestra go on general sale on Friday January 24 at 10am via the Roundhouse website.
