The Classic Car Boot Sale, a weekend of sustainable fashion and “retro-fuelled family fun”, will take place on April 26 and 27 along with classic car displays across Granary Square, Lewis Cubitt Square and Coal Drops Yard.
“There’s no cooler gathering in Europe,” founder Wayne Hemingway insists. “We have London’s best-dressed vintage alternative crowd coming to bag some real goodies.”
The ‘sustainable shopping’ section is Britain’s largest outdoor charity fashion market, with vintage clothing, a do-it-yourself T-shirt design and upcycling workshops against a background of vinyl-spinning DJs and live disco at Eddie’s Love Bus to get rock’n’rolling.
New additions this year include a pinball and arcade alley with the BBC’s Repair Shop presenter Pinball Geoff and his collection of coin-operated arcade game machines from 1930 to the present day .
Car classics on show include the legendary Citroën DS celebrating seven decades of this French design masterpiece.
