Police were called to Church Road just before 7.15pm yesterday evening (May 9) after a crash between a pedestrian and a car.
The London Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but the pedestrian died shortly afterwards.
The next of kin of the man, a 34-year-old from Dundee, Scotland, have been informed. No arrests have been made.
A police spokesperson said that officers wanted to speak to a white, dark-haired woman aged in her 20s who was seen in a fight with the pedestrian shortly before the incident.
