The River House on Strand-on-the-Green in Chiswick will display the plaque after Hounslow Council approved the application.
Measuring 490mm in diameter, the plaque will be mounted on the ground floor between two sash windows.
The proposal was submitted by applicant James Korner, who sought listed building consent for the installation.
It was received and validated by the council on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The decision was issued by Matthew Rees, head of development management at Hounslow Council.
However, consent was granted subject to conditions, including that work must commence within three years and the development be carried out in accordance with the approved plans and documents.
The council warned that no demolition or construction work is to take place outside the permitted hours of 8am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
No work is allowed on Sundays or public holidays.
The River House is within the Chiswick Riverside ward.
The council stated that the decision does not convey approval under the Building Regulations 1991, which may require separate consent before work begins.
Guidance and policies followed in the decision-making process are available on the council’s website.
