The High Street and Ashfield Road will be shut to traffic from 7am until 6pm on Monday (May 5) for the Chislehurst Car Show.
The closures will be in place between the High Street’s junction with Willow Grove and its junction with Centre Common Road, while Ashfield Road will be closed between its junction with the High Street and the mini roundabout junction with Loop Road.
The closures are part of a temporary prohibition of vehicular traffic order put in place by Bromley Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Chislehurst Car Show is an annual community event showcasing a wide range of classic, vintage, and performance vehicles in the heart of Chislehurst, attracting car enthusiasts from across the region.
Alongside the car displays, the event typically features family-friendly entertainment, food stalls, and local business participation.
The council said this order is necessary to enable the Chislehurst Car Show to take place safely.
The closures will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
The council said pedestrian access to premises on or adjacent to the roads will not be affected by the order, and access to properties will be maintained wherever practicable from either side of the closure.
Emergency access and egress routes will also remain open at all times.
Anyone with questions about the closures is asked to contact Bromley Council on 020 8464 3333 ext 4546.
