The King William IV, located in the heart of Chigwell, is scheduled to reopen on July 25 after an extensive refurbishment.
The pub, known as a popular spot for celebrity sightings, will have a new menu and layout.
A refreshed outdoor area will accommodate up to 80 people for al-fresco dining.
Inside, the remodelled pub will feature a contemporary look, which it says is inspired by the UK’s most luxurious country dining and drinking spots.
Earthy wooden tones, plush velvet seating, and brass finishes will contribute to a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The centrepiece of the revamped pub is a new bar with champagne tables, bespoke lighting, and upholstered booths.
It will also host regular live entertainment, quiz nights, and activities.
As part of the refurbishment, the pub will offer private dining and event spaces.
The menu, under the guidance of head chef Daniel Arapache, has been revamped too.
It will feature a selection of seasonal dishes, including pub favourites such as the signature duo of pork and scallops and pan-fried seabass fillets.
General manager Dai Mayston King said: “We’re thrilled to bring The King William IV back to life and make it the number one place to be seen in Chigwell.
“Our team is ready to welcome both familiar faces and new guests to experience our premium food, exceptional service, and the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes this pub so special.
“There are so many reasons to visit whether it’s to indulge in our amazing Bottomless Bubbles offer, through to a fixed-price lunch menu, weeknight escape deals, three small plates for £15 or incredible offers on cocktails.
“The pub is also now taking 2025 bookings for a magical Christmas to remember.
“We’re at the ready to provide a delicious festive menu with all the trimmings, whether that’s for Christmas parties with work or friends, or indulging in that all-important spending special time with loved ones on Christmas Day or Boxing Day itself.”
